And the divide grows deeper and deeper between us and them, where they get the self-aware self-actualized conscious badass points and we get more of the "damn the man" rap for sitting around threatened and defensive and doing just about nothing to better ourselves. Ok so I'm exaggerating a little but it's 4:50am and I really need to redo this part anyway. Point is, it does apply to us, and maybe even more so right now since we're kind of behind and it's not just going to go away.
